The inspiration for this piece was an antique block I purchased over twenty years ago. What struck me most about this pattern were the light colored triangles that fly out from the center octagon. It is very similar to the pineapple log cabin pattern it makes the pattern much more unique. I used fabrics from Journey Through Time and Civil War Chronicles. Pattern includes center vase. Intermediate kit level.
